How have you have supported others to develop their practice?

Since my senior fellowship award, I have been promoted to the role of Head of Intercalated Programmes in the School of Medicine, overseeing the portfolio of 20 intercalated degrees. My current interests lie in how we can make intercalation opportunities as inclusive as possible and counter barriers to students taking up clinical academic careers. I am supervising a number of student research projects in this area.

What are your current student education interests/new developments?

I continue to support others in the following ways: - mentoring colleagues who wish to develop their educational practice, scholarship, or research (as a PRiSE mentor and less formally within the School) - developing and hosting events for the LIME Clinical Education Network - teaching and supervising undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students in medical/clinical education - presenting and publishing my medical education scholarship and research locally, nationally, and internationally - hosting an international faculty development programme called IMEX.
