Dr Rebecca O’Loughlin, The PRiSE Scheme Leader and Academic Development Consultant in OD&PL, said:

“It is gratifying to see so many colleagues and PGRs making successful applications for a range of categories of Fellowship. The PRiSE scheme is inclusive of all of those who have a role in student education, and we are delighted that in this, the first year of the operation of our newly accredited scheme, we are receiving high quality applications from individuals teaching or supporting learning in a diverse range of schools and professional services.

These applicants are amongst the first to have their practice recognised against the new Professional Standards Framework (PSF 2023), and, as such, are leading the way in reflecting on and celebrating and their student education practice; this process leads to enhancements to practice which have direct benefits for their learners.

Congratulations to our successful applicants; we are proud of them, and we want to commend their hard work – not only in completing the application, but as teachers and supporters of learning who are enriching and enhancing student education at Leeds and, in many cases, beyond. We hope they are proud of themselves!”

There are four submission points each year for applications to the PRiSE scheme. The scheme is underpinned by a suite of support sessions which provide applicants with the knowledge and resources which are essential for making an application.
