How have you have supported others to develop their practice?
I have taught, mentored and supported doctors and physiotherapists working in medicine and sports medicine for over 15 years delivering education to over 5000 students/delegates/attendees.
I have been the chair of education for the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine, overseeing the education of over 1000 members. Through this role I have organised three international conferences.
Previously I was at a Yorkshire Medical School, overseeing the education of the clinical year medical students for 5 years. At the University of Leeds, over the last decade we have developed 3 postgraduate courses and along with Dr Camilla Nykjaer, we have set up our Sport and Exercise Medicine group.
I have supported others to develop their practices through 1:1 and group mentorship, direct teaching and through clinical supervision.
