How have you have supported others to develop their practice?

I have supported others to develop their practice by designing and leading structured staff development, including tutor inductions, mentoring, and workshops that model inclusive, evidence-informed teaching approaches.

I provide ongoing pedagogic guidance through resources, reflective dialogue, and responsive one-to-one support, which has helped colleagues build confidence in facilitation, digital teaching, and learner support. Evidence from tutor reflections, observations, and evaluations shows that these interventions have strengthened colleagues’ pedagogical skills and transformed their day-to-day teaching practice.

What are your current student education interests/new developments?

My current student education interests centre on inclusive and evidence-informed medical education, with a particular focus on: Embedding lived experience and patient voices into Behavioural and Social Sciences teaching in Medicine; Inclusive pedagogies within higher education; Developing high-quality, research-informed teaching across MBChB programmes and Enhancing assessment literacy and medical education research skills
