How have you have supported others to develop their practice?

My role as School Academic Lead for Inclusive Practice (SALIP) involves supporting colleagues to implement inclusive Baseline Standards. I support all students from different backgrounds as main partners in the L&T process. I empower them to get their voice heard in student-led forums, student voice events, etc... I work closely with key stakeholders and programme managers to put action plans to improve our inclusivity practice and make sure these actions are implemented.

What are your current student education interests/new developments?

I am the SALIP for LCS and I work closely with 26 other SALIPs in the university-wide Inclusive Learning and Teaching Development Project (ILTD) to support inclusivity in learning and teaching. We focus on digital accessibility, inclusive/diverse curriculum design, inclusive assessment and feedback in addition to supporting staff to achieve inclusive baseline standards.
