How have you have supported others to develop their practice?

I support colleagues from across the university to develop their practice in a range of areas related to student education, including through the PGCAP (action research), projects and consultancy work. I have experience as a reviewer and mentor for applications for fellowship (both written and dialogic routes) and am currently a reviewer for PRiSE. At previous institutions I have led large programme teams and supported and advocated colleagues' development.

What are your current student education interests/new developments?

I am particularly interested in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and pedagogic research and lead the PGCAP Action Research Module. Other areas of interest include academic development for student education, teacher development (for beginning and experienced teachers), widening participation, social justice and academic and personal tutoring. My research is in language teacher education, transition and co-teaching.
