To support the implementation of our curriculum redefined priorities for assessment and feedback, Professor Alice O'Grady (Dean for Student Education Quality) is chairing a series of assessment and feedback matters webinars with invited external guest speakers, supported by OD&PL.

The way we think about assessment at Leeds is changing. The pandemic has given us an opportunity to try new approaches and to consider how we can improve assessment for all in a post-pandemic world. The sector is responding creatively to this shift and Leeds is part of that movement. Come and join the discussion as we welcome our guest speakers and invite them to stimulate our thinking on this most important aspect of learning and teaching.

- Professor Alice O'Grady, Dean: Student Education (Quality and Standards)

 Topics scheduled to date include:

  • Authentic assessment to engage students with Professors Sally Brown and Kay Sambell
  • Inclusive assessment design with Professor Jo Rushworth
  • Student partnership in assessment and feedback with Dr Fiona O'Riordan and Rob Lowney.

Further sessions are in development and will cover digital practices in assessment and assessment literacy. As new sessions are made available, they will be visible on the link below.
